Fear grips Fintey community over alleged rampant ritual killing

The people of Fintey Dorfor a farming community in the Volta region are leaving in constant fear and panic following issues of alleged killings in the area.

The latest which has brought the community on it’s knees has to with the missing of a 15 year old boy.

Maxwell Gbemu has gone missing for the past four weeks which members of the Fintey community believe may be linked to the killings in the area.

The missing boy was said to have visited his grandmother at Tsito near Fintey and has since not returned.

All efforts to locate his where about has proven futile.

In a similar situation a fourteen-year-old boy by name Kinsley Asilevi was pick up recently by some motorists suspeted to be ritual murderers at the same Fintey community and kept in a dilapidated structure near Asikuma awaiting execution.

The young boy was said to have broken the door and escaped.

These recent incidents have sent shivers down the spines of the community folks making them unable to go about their normal businesses particularly going to their farms .

The chiefs and people in the community and its environs are calling on security agencies to intensify efforts in search of the innocent boy.

So far, three of the alleged ritual murderers have been apprehended by the Frankadua police according to reports from Fintey where the nefarious acts is said to have been taking place.

Evidence gathered from their point of arrest include bones believed to be that of human.

Meanwhile the three suspected persons are yet to be prosecuted.
