The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene today engaged various stakeholders, including other political parties, to drive development in the Ashanti Region.
This collaborative approach aims to promote inclusive governance and address pressing regional issues .
Some of the key areas of focus to the minister include mproving the transportation system in the region to facilitate easy movement within the region.
On security, the minister said his administration will adopt measures to ensure the safety and security of residents and visitors.
He said his office will review all stalled and abandoned government projects and complete them to boost economic growth.
Dr Amoakohene indicated that the region will ensure strict compliance with sanitation laws in line with government policies to enhance effective waste management systems aimed at protecting the region’s natural resources.
The Minister said unemployment and economic Empowerment are of great concern to the government.
He announced the thatjob creating opportunities enrolled and support will be given to local businesses to stimulate economic growth.
By working together with other political parties and stakeholders, Dr. Amoakohene hopes to bring about meaningful change and improve the lives of the people in the Ashanti Region.
Political parties that attended the meeting included Action People’s Party (APP), LPG, GCPP, CPP, GUM, NDC, NDP, PNP, and PNC.
