After his failed attempt to bribe upper East Regional based investigative journalist, Edward Adeti to drop a news item against his friend, his appointment as a minister of state at the presidency was terminated. As usual, he attempted to mount a self-defense and used party boys to do some damage control.
Days after his not-adding-up defensive agenda, a ‘resignation’ letter emanated from his office. The roof-top noise makers went to town, unzipping venom and empty threats on any soul condemning Mr. Rockson’s unlawful act of bribery.
It will be recalled that investigative journalist Edward Adeti, rejected a five thousand Ghana cedis plus a motorbike bribery offer initiated by Mr. Rockson Bukari at a time the experienced journalist caught a Bolgatanga based high court judge perverting justice.
A purported news item alleging that Mr. Rockson was forced by the powers that be to resign got social media hitting. Months after his alleged resignation, ghanaianeye.com sources indicates that Mr. Rockson Bukari is still at post.
The sniffing gadgets of this portal is still digging. Mr. Bukari however has not been seen in public nor party events after his alleged resignation.
He was conspicuously missing at the just ended NPP orphans constituency parliamentary primaries.
Mr Rockson Bukari contested the Bolga East constituency seat on the ticket of the NPP in the 2012 general elections.
Mr. Rockson Bukari until his appointment as a minister of state at the presidency, was the upper East Regional minister.
