The Apostolic Church Ghana inaugurates Kumasi North Area in grand style as it calls for end to galamsey

A grand inaugural ceremony of the Kumasi North Area of The Apostolic church Ghana has taken place in Kumasi .

This was after two areas namely Oforikrom and Ash Town Areas of the church have been merged to be known as the Kumasi North Area.

The occasion was graced by prominent personalities including traditional leaders and a representative of the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu ll .

Church members from all over the Ashanti region and beyond were also present to give thanks and praise to the Lord.

Speaking to the media after the event , the Vice President of the Apostolic Church Ghana and diaspora Apostle Christopher Afum Nyarko said that the church has a mission of spreading the gospel globally starting from Ghana as it’s Jerusalem.

They will also strategically enter into virgin communities where their presence is not felt and also strengthen the weaker ones.

Apostle Nyarko stressed the need for the church to improve upon it’s discipleship under the motor: “rebearing fruit” which is a major goal set by the church to win more souls fo Christ.

• Touching on the issues galamsey which many people see as an arbatrouse around the neck Ghanaians in recent years , Apostle Nyarko Afum urged the government to Marshall all forces in the fight against the illegal mining menace which he said has become a major enemy of the state destroying all aspert of human life .

He was of the view that depoliticizing the fight and bringing all hands on desk will be the surest way to triumph over the menace.
