Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital CEO donates to Muslim workers in the month of Ramadan
To help boost the morale and to motivate Muslim workers on their spiritual journey in this month of Ramadan, the Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Dr Paa Kwesi Baidoo has made a personal donation of assorted food items to Muslim workers of the hospital.
The items worth twenty thousand cedis includes bags of rice, cartons of milk, packs of cubic sugar, boxes of Milo, packs of biscuits among other things.
The gesture which was the first of it kind as far as successive CEOs of the hospital are concerned came as a surprise to the group .
Dr Baidoo”s gesture was based on his believe in giving and sharing with others without direct rewards from the recipient. All he asked for was continuous prayer for the facility and other workers.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim workers,the Chief Imam of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital , Imam Ibrahim Bawa was full of appreciation to the CEO and prayed for long life for him and his family as well as success in all his endeavors.
Imam Ibrahim Bawa called on others to emulate the good gestures of Dr Baidoo and the blessings of Allah will not elud them: while assuring the hospital of their continue hard work and prayers to help move the facility forward.
