NDC constituency executives call for immediate removal of axle weight Manager Elizabeth Arjaquah

A number of agitated National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executives across the Ashanti Region are fuming with angar calling for the head of Madam Elizabeth Arjaquah the manager in charge of axle weight at the Ghana High Way Authority.

Cladded in red bands and chanting war songs in protest to show their level of angar and disappointment, the party executives have called for immediate removal from office of the axle weight manager Madam Elizabeth Arjaquah in the best interest of the state and government as well as the NDC party.

At press conference addressed by the Afigya Kwabe North constituency communications Director of the NDC Mr Elvis Agyemang at the Akom axle weight station in the Ashanti Region, the group together with some workers accused Madam Elizabeth Arjaquah of thievery ,
Mismanagement and gross incompetence.

Mr Agyemang Aleged that Madam Arjaquah has planted her cohort at all axle weight stations to rob the nation by either under declear revenue from the stations by far or allow some of the overloaded cargo trucks to park aside and continue their journey midnight after negotiations are done with drivers for a quantum of money which never goes into government chests.

The party executives were deeply worried at the development citing some senior officials at the Ministry of Roads and Highways of conniving with the woman to carry out this crime against the state.

“The earlier this woman is fired the better for the resetting agenda”Mr Agyemang added.

Meanwhile the group has vow to fiercely resist any attempt by some element at the Ministry of Roads and Highways in collaboration with the said Elizabeth Arjaquah to cut down the recruitment of 20 people to each axle weight station to five as being speculated .
