Mr Morris Prince Manu ,a former constituency Chairman for The National Democratic Congress in the Amansie West District has been given an emphatic endorsement by the assembly members to become the new District Chief Executive for the area.
All the 39 assembly members present and voting gave the nominee a 100percent endorsement.
Present to give moral support and solidarity to the nominee were former District Chief Executives, traditional leaders, and NDC party Executives from regional and constituency levels.
Prior to the confirmation, the Ashanti regional Director of National Service who doubled as the representative of the Ashanti Regional Minister Mr Emmanuel Reagan Fynn appealed to the assembly members to give a one touch victory to the nominee in order to foster rapid development of the area .
Mr Manu who was immediately sworn inn as the new DCE expressed his profound gratitude to the assembly members and all stake holders for the overwhelming support. He pleaded to rally every body around to push the developmental agenda of the District forward.
